Oat Services Ltd is an ethical, customer-focused company, specialising in the research and development of market applications for the cereal crop oats (Avena sativa) from food through to cosmetic applications.
We have for a number of years also supplied high quality organic grains from Canada and Argentina, and specialize in short-chain transparent supply chains where the customer and the origin supply have strong visibility of each other.
We have worked with a number of large food manufacturers and currently supply a food ingredient specifically formulated for use in breads containing oats.
Through our organic business we have delivered a sophisticated logistic handling procedure for bulk 20 fcl sea-containers containing cereals and other grains including clearance, container offload, devanning, storage and delivery to the customer. We now offer this as a service to other companies.
Our MD, Cark Maunsell is Chairman of the Project Management group of QUOATS, a five year Defra Link project investigating advanced methods of breeding oats, and their potential to improve economic farm production and give the consumer, whether this is a human food manufacturer or an animal a better product.
